Pamper Time

Now that I’m on maternity leave I’m making the most of the time before my little bundle of joy arrives by catching up with friends, cleaning the house and most importantly enjoying a bit of pampering.

At my recent baby shower I was lucky enough to receive some amazing pamper products and wanted to share them with you. The range is from Sanctuary Spa and is called ‘Mum to be’. For any expectant mums who have any of these products, I’m sure you’ll agree that they are fab. If you haven’t come across these products yet, you really do have to take a look.

Sanctuary Spa

I was brought the congratulations collection which came in a beautiful purple and lilac box with a pretty bow on top. Before I’d even opened it I knew it was going to be gorgeous. Inside the box were the following; 2 in 1 moisturising shower cream, collagen boosting body butter, bounce back firming cream, cooling leg and foot gel, eye mask. I also received a mini gift bag of collagen boosting body butter, tummy soothing bath soak and the 2 in 1 moisturising shower cream.

As soon as I received these treats I started using them. Not only do they smell delicious they leave your skin feeling incredible. I’ve found that if I have a nice soak in the bath of an evening, and then cover myself in these various products, I’ve had a really good nights sleep – something which doesn’t come easily at this late stage of pregnancy as I’m sure you are all too familiar with.

As well as using these new products, I’ve also been using stretch mark cream from very early on in my pregnancy. I was hoping I would be like my mum and have no stretch marks at all, and so far I’ve been incredibly lucky for that to be the case. I have no idea if that is down to my twice daily routine of applying stretch mark cream or if it’s all in the genes. All I do know, is that my skin feels soft and that it gives me comfort to feel as though I am lovingly nurturing my growing bump. The product I’ve been using is Cussons Mum & Me bump stretch mark cream, which I absolutely love and you can purchase at most supermarkets. It has a lovely smell and feels really nourishing with it’s thick consistency. I’ve also got the bump hydrate & nourish shower cream which I haven’t used yet as I’m working my way through the Sanctuary Spa body wash, but don’t doubt it will be just as fabulous.

I’m sure there are plenty of amazing products out there which I haven’t even come across during my pregnancy. What have you been using? Which products have you found to be the most effective at reducing stretch marks and making your skin feel great? I’d love to hear all about them.

  1. Pampering yourself when you’re pregnant is a must. Looks like you have received some lovely products:) I really like the cussons range and used their products throughout my last pregnancy.
